In 1970, there was no longer a cemetery in Ústí nad Labem where Maxmilian Goldberger could be buried. The Jewish cemetery was liquidated as part of the liquidation of the city cemetery complex.
It is still unclear what happened to the tombstones and the remains of the dead, which are inviolable according to Jewish tradition. Perhaps they are still in the ground today, or perhaps they were taken to a landfill.
