In the footsteps of the Jewish inhabitants of Ústí nad Labem

The Neuschul family

The Neuschul family came from Libochovice and had been settled in Ústí nad Labem since the mid-nineteenth century. The patriarch of the family, Simon Neuschul, had five sons and two daughters. They were all born in Ústí nad Labem. In the house we are standing in front of, the family of the son Josef lived, who also ran a hardware store there.
