A loyal friend of the USSR

After returning from the Soviet Union, Ernest Neuschul painted portraits of Bolshevik leaders for the Ústí nad Labem communist demonstration in September 1937. And not only that - he also painted a portrait of the leader of the Czechoslovak communists, Klement Gottwald.
