As Táňa Klementová writes in her thesis, Jews were forbidden to enter certain streets, squares, parks, forests and other public places; in Brno, these were Pellicova, Lužánecká and Mozartova streets, and the ban applied to all parks in the Greater Brno district and also to the benches in Joštova Street. From September 1939, persons identified as Jews were not allowed to leave their apartments after 8 pm.
