The Dubrovnik Synagogue, founded in 1408, is the second oldest active Sephardic synagogue in Europe, following the Prague synagogue. Despite facing significant damage throughout its history, including the devastating earthquake of 1667, World War II, and the 1990s war in Croatia, it remains an active place of worship to this day. Presently, it also serves as a Jewish museum, safeguarding precious artifacts and treasures of the Dubrovnik Jewish community.
