Italian authorities

While it is true that the Italian authorities in some cases treated Jews better than the Ustashas and the Nazis, it is important to acknowledge that their treatment was not entirely benevolent. While the Italians may have exhibited a relatively lenient attitude towards Jews compared to their counterparts, they still implemented oppressive measures. This included imprisoning Jews in camps and participating in deportations.
