Memories of the Witness

Bet Chalutzot was the girls' equivalent of the boys' home in Dlouhá street. Boys and girls living together in the same dormitory would have been too much even for the liberal Zionist movements at that time. Maybe once in Palestine, but in Prague they definitely had to live separately.

This is how Alena Hájková remembers the resident girls.
