Photographs of the café itself are rare, let alone of its smoking, billiard and private lounges, named after their colours. This pre-war photograph of the interior is preserved in the Aschermann family archive.
The founder of the Central and Aschermann cafés, Otto Aschermann, moved to Palestine in 1937 and opened a new Aschermann café in Tel Aviv, on Allenby Street. The Prague café was taken over by a new owner, Armin Radó, and continued to operate in its original style and quality.
