The House at the Golden Tree, alternatively also at the Green Tree, is an important monument of Prague's civic architecture. Its history dates back to the middle of the fifteenth century. The house was saved from demolition, which awaited many of the surrounding buildings, by its new owner, the Israelite Confraternity, during the First Republic.
