Exploring traces of Jewish Olomouc

It's not a boat, it's a tub

The quite small ship Frossula was built in 1903 in England, often changing owners and name. In the ship registers she is listed under the names Hussar, Kilbane, Général Leman, but also Agios Nicolaios. Owners were British private companies, the French state and then increasingly obscure Greek shipowners.

Alfred Loebl, one of the refugees, took a series of photographs on board the ship. You can see some of them below.
