In Terezín, Zeev Scheck became involved in efforts to document everything that was happening in the ghetto. He collected documents in a special suitcase and hid them in a niche in the Terezín casemates with the help of his future wife Alice. After the war, this collection of documents became part of a large-scale documentation project that Zeev directed. Later, together with his wife, he helped found the Beit Terezin Museum in Israel.
One of the testimony records taken as part of the post-war documentation efforts was dedicated to Pesach Scheck.
