In 1947, Zeev received permission to emigrate to Palestine.
He studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, then returned to Prague with a youth delegation and married Alice. In July 1948, they both emigrated to the newly established Jewish state, Israel.
Zeev became a diplomat. From 1950 to 1953 he was the first secretary of the Israeli embassy in Prague. His diplomatic career continued at embassies in London, Paris, Vienna and Rome, where he died suddenly in October 1978.
