The next stop is the memorial in the synagogue courtyard devoted to the memory of the children deported from Győr. The school was closed in the autumn of 1942, occupied by the military. The situation of the children and their parents gradually deteriorated as a series of measures against the Jews were announced, restricting their movement and confiscating their property. After the Holocaust, the community could no longer maintain the synagogue and the school. They were rebuilt around the turn of the millennium after a long period of disrepair.
