Symbolism of the Armenian Genocide Memorial


At the top of the hill, the Armenian Genocide Memorial overlooks the majestic Mount Ararat. The Memorial comprises both the Hall of Remembrance and Obelisk of Rebirth. Visiting the Memorial is regarded as a secular pilgrimage for many Armenians, especially those who live in the Armenian Diaspora (outside of Armenia).
