Monument to the victims of the Holocaust and Ustasha regime

The Central Railway Station was the place from which the trains that deported Jews to Jasenovac and other camps on the territory of the NDH, as well as to the Nazi camps, mostly Auschwitz-Birkenau, departed or passed through. ŽBOZ sent aid to Jews from the NDH territory to Jasenovac and other camps in the NDH territory by trains from the Central Station from its premises in nearby Trenkova 9, where the Care for the Camps was located. The monument to the victims of the Holocaust and the Ustasha regime was unveiled on Yom HaShoah in 2022 at the place of deportation of the Zagreb community to concentration camps on the territory of the NDH and occupied Poland.
