Kaddish monument: returning after the war


The monument is in the square near the former building of Sainte-Sophie at the boulevard Roosevelt in Luxembourg. This monument was created by the French-Israeli sculptor artist Shelomo Selinger who himself was a holocaust survivor. He constructed several similar monuments around the world. The one in Luxembourg commemorates all Jewish men, women and children who had been living in Luxembourg until 1940 and died during the Holocaust.
