Villa Pauly: Anti-Jewish measures


Before the German occupation in 1940, the Villa Pauly belonged to Dr. Norbert Pauly. After his return from a vacation in France, he discovered that the Gestapo took over his house and turned it into their headquarters in the meantime. A large number of people, especially protesters were arrested and often violently interrogated in the basement of Villa Pauly during the war.
