Exploring the traces of Jewish Český Těšín

The Těšín Stolperstein

Stolpersteine, German for “stumbling stones", also known in Czech as Stones of the disappeared, are memorial stones commemorating the murdered, mostly Jewish fellow citizens. The brass-coated cubes present information about the victims right in front of the houses where they once lived.

Rosalie Wiesner's memorial stone was set into the pavement in front of the Avion café on October 30, 2012, the first Stolperstein in Český Těšín.

Find Rosalie Wiesner's Stolperstein in the pavement. What information can you read from it?
