Kosice IWalk

The responsibility of remembering

You are now approaching the end of the IWalk, during which you learned stories of Holocaust survivors’ and followed the fate of the Jewish people of Kosice. Of the 16.000 only 2500 returned to the city after the war. Many emigrated in the following years and today there is a small congregation of only 250 people.

What do you think, whose responsibility is to remember and commemorate the past and the events of the Holocaust, and why?
