Otti Berger bought two weaving looms from the Bauhaus and set up her own studio in Fasanenstrasse 13 in Berlin. Otti ran her studio until the summer of 1937 as a laboratory to develop innovative fabrics for architects, textile companies, for transport and even upholstery for airplanes.
