Paradoxically, after the Prague Jewish old-age home was moved from Hagibor to the now demolished building of the spa house Krym in Mariánské Lázně, the old-age home became the centre of Jewish life. Several photographs have been preserved of the joint celebrations of Jewish holidays, where children and grandchildren from all over the country came to visit the old men and women. In the following photo from the mid-1950s you can see Kateřina Rychnovská and Růžena Hoffeová sitting at the head. Both would soon be accused of a Zionist conspiracy.
