Survivor Biography
Marta Peková was born in 1913 in Prague. Together with her young daughter, Alenka, Marta was deported from Radiotrh to Terezin on December 14, 1941. Her husband was deported later. Thanks to a German friend the family knew before the war, they managed to stay in the Terezin ghetto and were never deported to a death camp. The interview was recorded in January 1996 in Prague.
