Starting Over: The Story of Andy Reti

Sharing His Experience

As Andy moved into his retirement years, he spoke more and more frequently about his experiences during the Holocaust. In 1990, his mother, Ibolya, published her memoir, "An Ordinary Woman in Extraordinary Times". Andy followed in her footsteps and published his own memoir in 2018. These two books were combined in a work called "Stronger Together" published by the Azrieli Foundation’s Holocaust Survivor Memoir Program.

In this segment, Andy shares his thoughts on testifying about the Holocaust to today’s generations.
