Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza: Propaganda & Antisemitism

Question

In their 2015 report, Human Rights First stressed the correlation between the rise of intolerance and the rise of antisemitism, stating that, “[l]eft unchecked, antisemitism leads to the persecution of other minorities, and to an overall increase in repression and intolerance. Think about what you have learned about the power and danger of propaganda and its use as a tool to promote antisemitism.

  • What do you think you can you do to counter antisemitic propaganda when you are confronted with it?
  • Write a Six Word Pledge that captures your response and share with a peer. (Example: I pledge to... always speak up against hateful messages.)
