During this IWalk you will learn about the Jewish community of Lisbon who played a major role in helping Jewish refugees who were fleeing from Nazi-occupied countries in the Second World War. With the help of the Portuguese Jewish community, thousands of European Jewish refugees were able to safely pass through Portugal and survive the war.
