National Holocaust Monument: Landscape of Loss, Memory and Survival

Liberation75 and the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship (CHES)

The National Holocaust Monument, entitled "Landscape of Loss, Memory and Survival," commemorates the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, recognizes those who survived, and serves as a reminder to Canadians about the dangers of hatred, racism and intolerance. It stands as a tribute to the courage and resilience of survivors who were able to make their way to Canada and contribute immensely to our country.

This IWalk provides an overview of the Holocaust and Canada’s response while exploring the relevance of this history today. It encourages us to reflect on this history and commit to “Never Again!”. This IWalk is available in English and French.
